He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Wright and Cornelia Orr Wright; and his half-sister Helen Hoffler. He is survived by: his cousins, Alberta, T. J. Scoggins, Dorothy Vaughn, Rena Jane Thrower, Jane Ratterree and Patsy Tucker; his close friend Scott Whitson; his nephew Patrick Hoffler; and his niece Rebecca Hoffler Crowe.
