He was predeceased by: his parent Clifford Howard. He is survived by: his parent Annie Crumpler Howard; his wife Sarah Howard; and his children, Gerry Elaine Howard of Greenville, SC, Craig V. Howard (Sharon) of Richland, Karen Jernigan (Roger) of Concord and Bette Jo Broome (Bill) of Valrico. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.
