He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles William and Maxine Hayes Gore; and his sister-in-law Sharon Suggs Gore. He is survived by: his wife Carol P. Gore; his sons, Christopher Alan (Brandelyn Marie Gore) of Concord and Andrew Franklin Gore of Myrtle Beach, SC; his grandchildren, Sarah Madelyn Gore, Christopher Caleb Gore and Jonathan Jacob Gore; and his siblings, Rev. Sam Gore of Salemburg and Wanda G. (Donnie Bledson) of Wilmington. He is also survived by four nephews and one niece.
