He is survived by: his wife Gale Cobble Matthews; his children, Patrick Matthews (Shana), Angela Scott (Kevin) and Jessica Rogers (Jeremiah); his grandchildren, Matthew (Regan Scott), Mya, Morgan (Nathan Rogers) and Madeline (Kathryn Matthews); and his sisters, Vicky Boomer and Bonnie Jean Matthews.
