He was predeceased by: his parents, Rowena Carter and Fred Carter of Wilson, N. C.. He is survived by: his wife Dietra Carter; his sons, Greg, Allen and Dominique Carter; and his siblings, Ray, Gwen and Margeret Carter. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
