He is survived by: his wife Julia Piedra Salas; his sons, Carlos Avila (Rosie) of Mesa, AZ, José Avila (Ramona) of St. Pauls, NC, Ismael Avila (Edith) of Red Springs, NC, Arcenio Avila (Aracely) of Goodyear, AZ and Rodrigo Avila of Litchfield Park, AZ; and his siblings, Raul Solís of Red Springs, NC, Virginia Solís of México and Rutila Solís of Florida. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
