He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles F. Sherrill Sr. and Joan Phillips Sherrill; and his sister Wanda S. Butler. He is survived by: his daughter Ashley N. Sherrill; his grandchildren, Willie Chason, III, Waylon Chason and Delana Chason; and his siblings, Charles F. Sherrill, Jr., Colin Sherrill (Dawn), Lauren Sherrill (Sallie), Terrance Sherrill (Mary), Beth Sherrill Radtke Newsome (Joe) and Elaine Hulon. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
