She was predeceased by: her parent Johnnie Britt; her husband Levie Ray Dowless Sr.; and her siblings, Linda Mae Allen and Jimmy Britt. She is survived by: her children, Betty Luette Dowless of St. Pauls, Levi Ray Dowless, Jr. (Gail) of St. Pauls and Darren Lynn Dowless of St. Pauls; her siblings, Willie Britt of Lumberton, Henrietta Lee of St. Pauls, Margaret Nance of St. Pauls and Rev. Thomas Britt of St. Pauls; and her grandchildren, Mary, Jeremy, Lynn, Lyndsey, Arron, Joe and Kayla. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren as well as a host of relatives and friends.
