He was predeceased by: his parents, Adnell Locklear, Sr. and Lenla Mae Culpepper Locklear; and his siblings, Lena Gail Frills and Garland Locklear. He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie Locklear; his sons, Derek Locklear (Nina) and Desmond Locklear (Sophia); his grandchildren, Molly, Alex, Hannah and Jeremiah; and his siblings, Fred Whitman Duwand Irving (Doris), Deland Locklear, Wanda Locklear (Sam), Patricia Jackson, Cynthia K. Streight, Dorla Osborne (Kenny) and Sandra Locklear. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and relatives.
