He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Foster Lewis and Charles Wilbur Lewis; and his brother Charles Norris Lewis. He is survived by: his wife Jackie Lane; and his children, Michael Lewis of Rutherfordton, Walter Lewis of Cary, Susan Parlier of Greensboro and Laura Beaman of Greensboro.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mountain Creek Baptist Church (710 Mountain Creek Rd, Rutherfordton, NC 28139). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at the Mountain Creek Baptist Church Cemetery (710 Mountain Creek Rd, Rutherfordton, NC 28139).
