With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Artensie Jenkins (Roxboro, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 8, 2024 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Neal and Millie Neal; her siblings, Bethel Neal, Ivy Neal, Viola F. Brown, Lila Brooks and Mozell Neal; and her goddaughter Joilet Harris.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dr. Emma Banks, Dr. Susan Jenkins of Mitchellville and Bessie Adams of Miami, Florida; her grandchildren, Clotee Banks, Monica and Kimberly McDermott; her children, Jeremy Smith, Eric Mckenzie Jenkins, Sydney Lampkin and Skyler Lampkin of Mitchellville Maryland; her nephew James Mosley of Washington, DC; her goddaughter Artensie Blake-Wade; and her friend Stewart Epps of Philadelphia.
