He was predeceased by: his parents, Leondas Johnson and Eldora Fussell Johnson; and his siblings, Donald Ray Johnson, Jerry Allen Johnson and Peggy Johnson Hunt.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Atkinson Johnson; his children, Michael Lee Johnson (Missi), Brenda Johnson Hilliard (Ben) and June Johnson Darden (Rickie); his grandchildren, Jessica Hilliard Frye (Andrew), Brandon Hilliard (JoLeigh), Lauren Darden, Mary Landon Johnson and Bella Gray Johnson; his great grandchildren, Brody Frye and Avery Hilliard; and also Odeas. He is also survived by friends, was a devoted husband and caring father, and grandfather.
