She was predeceased by: her parent James Hobert Tackett; her daughter Gracie Jane Young; and her siblings, Ronald Tackett, Dennis Tackett, Reba Fransen, Ruth Burress and Virginia Szwaja.

She is survived by: her parent Gracie Knipp Tackett; and her children, Lee Roy Young, Theresa Johnson, Glenna Norris, Glenn Earl Young Jr. and Neil Anthony Young. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
