He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Franklin Duke, Sr. and Vesta Marie Duke (Allen); his son Robert Duke; and his brothers, Jerl Duke and Allen Duke.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Duke (Wilkins); his children, Scott Duke (Linda), Eric Duke (Laura), Chad Duke (Tracey), Shane Duke (Kristi), Curtis Wilkins, Patricia Johnson and Laura Wilkins; and his cousin Lennox Allen Eward. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to Lower Cape Fear LifeCare.
