It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melinda Butler of Rocky Point, North Carolina, born in Wilmington, North Carolina, who passed away on July 12, 2020, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Rudolph and Gertrude McLamb Corbett; and her husband Joseph "Joe" Allen Butler. She is survived by: her sons, Allen Everett Butler and Jeremiah Cicero Butler; her siblings, Darlene Sherman (Steve), Margie Williams (Joe), Judy Heath, Calvin Corbett and Thomas Parker (Juanita); and her sister-in-law Linda Parker. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
