It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Douglas Farmer of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, born in Wilson, North Carolina, who passed away on August 4, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Roosevelt Farmer and Minnie Lee Brown Farmer. He is survived by: his children, Antwan Hines of Rocky Mount, NC, Jamal Farmer of Red Oak, NC and April Hines; and his sisters, Betty Jean Thigpen of Pinetops, NC and Lizzie Demetrius of Wilson, NC. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
