With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Jean Shafer of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, who passed away on March 26, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her husband Charles "Skip" Shafer, Jr.; her sons, Kevin Hall (Lisa) of Nashville and Scott Hall (Janice) of Nashville; her stepson Christopher Shafer of Rocky Mount; her sisters, Shirley Hux of Rocky Mount, Marie Barnes of Wilson, NC and Peggy Whitecotton of Mississippi; her grandchildren, Matthew Hall, Rachel Hall, Megan Hall, Sarah Beane, Emily Hall, Abby Boykin and Molly Hall; and her great grandchildren, Alex Alvarez, Jaxon, Liam Pittman, Isla Jean Hall, Bryson, Conner Boykin and Kinley Moser. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family friends and other extended relatives.
While floral tributes are welcomed, memorial donations to assist the family with expenses will also be appreciated.
