It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Rollings (Rockwell, North Carolina), who passed away on May 2, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry E. Rollings and Lyndel Funderburk Rollings; his former wife Peggy Daugherty Rollings; and his siblings, Daniel Rollings, Henry Rollings, Jr., Mary Mechum and Mildred Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Faye Strickland Rollings; his daughters, Pam Wilkinson (Lynn) of Mt. Ulla and Tina Cline (Mark) of Kannapolis; his stepdaughters, Tracey Lynn Austin (Steve) of Kannapolis and Debra Ross; and his siblings, James, Charles Rollings and Sarah Schwarz. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren and 5 step-great-grandchildren.
