It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard W. Janke of Rockwell, North Carolina, born in Freeport, New York, who passed away on September 16, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Janke and Stacia Duhnoski Janke; and his wife Bernice Meta Janke. He is survived by: his daughter Elizabeth "Liz" Janke (Josh); his grandchildren, Daniel, Melinda, Sierra, Ryleigh and Edmund (Tori); and his great grandchild Jessie Rae.
