It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Louise Fite McGuire of Rockwell, North Carolina, who passed away on October 9, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Quincy Abernathy Fite Sr. and Martha Mae Goodman Fite; her husband Blake McGuire, Sr.; and her siblings, Glady Fite Benfield, Peggy Fite Medlin, Doris Fite Goodman, Carl Fite and Quincy "Buck" Fite Jr..
She is survived by: her sons, B. B. McGuire Jr. (Jan) of Eden, NC and Todd McGuire (Krista) of Cornelius, NC; her grandchildren, Mary McGuire, Sarah McGuire, William McGuire and Grace McGuire; her sister Pat Blackmon; her nephew Tim Goodman; and her cousin Carla Smith. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews.
