She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Ball and Geraldine Hager Ball Miller; and her brother Jeffery Ball. She is survived by: her husband Steven Yost; her son Joshua Yost (Melissa) of Lexington, NC; her grandson Ben Yost; her son Eric Yost (Dana) of Mooresville, NC; her grandsons, Eli, Jacob and Luke Yost; and her siblings, Bob Ball of Statesville, NC and Diane Goodman of Salisbury, NC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
