With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen J. Mintz of Rockwell, North Carolina, born in Aurora, Illinois, who passed away on April 8, 2022 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Kenneth J. Bates, Sr.; her husband Jerry W. Mintz; and her brothers, Kenneth Bates, Jr., Floyd Bates and David Bates.
She is survived by: her children, Jared Anthony Kyle Mintz (Jessica) of Rockwell and Taclissa Gemini Gretchen Mintz of Gold Hill; her grandchildren, Logen Lachman, Riley Lachman and Madison Ratcliffe; and her sister Judy Pesco of Spencer.
