She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Tilley and Sadie Powell Tilley; her former husband Henry Boyd Alexander; her daughter Kelly Jean Alexander; her grandson Shane Alexander; and her sister Jean Grimes.
She is survived by: her children, William Alexander of Rockwell, Steve Alexander (Sue) of Salisbury and Jennifer Smith of Kannapolis; and her grandchildren, Virginia Harris (Mike) of Jacksonville, NC, Boyd Alexander (Tina) of Salisbury, Mike Alexander of Ashboro, Christi Gasca (Smokey) of Kannapolis and Casey Mowery of Mt. Ulla.
