It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Meta Donofrio Janke of Rockwell, North Carolina, born in Nassau, New York, who passed away on July 6, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Donofrio and Bernice Riley Donofrio. She is survived by: her husband Richard W. Janke; her daughter Elizabeth "Liz" Janke (Josh); her grandchildren, Daniel, Melinda, Sierra, Ryleigh and Edmund (Tori); and her great grandchild Jessie Rae.
