It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Beaver Young (Rockwell, North Carolina), born in Salisbury, North Carolina, who passed away on March 18, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucille Hartman Beaver Rinehardt and Floyd Alexander Beaver; her stepfather Glenn Rinehardt; and her grandson Charles Robert "Charlie" Crook. She is survived by: her former husband Rev. Robert Glenn; her husband Pastor Bob Young; her son David Young (Heidi David-Young) of Winchester, VA; her grandchildren, Noah, Micah, Leah Young of Winchester, VA, Samuel, William and John Crook of Lexington, SC; her sister Sandra Mills (R. L.) of Salisbury; and her sister-in-law Beth Young of Salisbury. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to any of the churches named above or to St. James Lutheran Church in Rockwell, where she was a member.
