She was predeceased by: her parents, James William Walker and Novella Haynes Walker (Misenheimer). She is survived by: her husband Gerald Wayne Goodman of Salisbury; her sons, Anthony "Tony" Goodman (Ann) and Darren J. Goodman of Rockwell; her grandchildren, Brenna Goodman (Siry Galarza) of Winston-Salem and Dylan Goodman of Rockwell; her brothers, Ronnie Walker (Pam) and Tommy Walker; her stepfather Fred Misenheimer (Vickie); her sister-in-law Dottie Goodman; and her aunts, Mary Hill, Nancy Davenport (Pete) and Mildred Walker. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faithful Friends Animal Sanctuary, 220 Grace Church Rd, Salisbury, NC 28147; or Rockwell United Methodist Church, PO Box 337, Rockwell, NC 28138 where she had been a member for many years.
