With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Calvin Nelson Gibson of Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on May 6, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Nelson and Charlotte Jeanette McDonald Gibson; his siblings, Virginia Gray and Elwin; his siblings-in-law, Peggy Gibson, Alvah R., Hattie Belle Gibson and Richard Wentz; and his great grandchildren, Autumn Eason, Cooper Ezzell, Adalyn Leviner, Baby Ezzell and Mary Alice.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice Gibson; his daughters, Valeria Lunceford (Richard), Beth Gibson McQueen, Susan Cornelius (Terry) and Tracy Ezzell (Saon Cheramie); his grandchildren, Hattie Reep (Danny), Aimee Eason (Michael), William Lunceford (Brandi), Joseph Cornelius (Erica), Michael Ezzell (Leah), Nathan Ezzell (Shaina), Grayson McQueen (Ashley), Alana Leviner (Joshua), Kristi, DeLani, Lexi Reep, Cody, James Eason, Tobey Lunceford, Kolby Price, Dakota Deaver, Ella, Scarlett Cornelius, Clark, Kaydance, Riley Ezzell, Bradley, Emeryn and John Leviner; his son-in-law Randy Ezzell; his sister-in-law Dorothy Gibson Wentz; and his nephew McDonald. He is also survived by his children, grand and great-grandchildren, visit his cousins and stay in.
