Though Beverly Seawell may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Beverly Seawell touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Cole Seawell and Ellon Stogner Seawell; her husband Richard W. Carnes; and her siblings, Mary C. Seawell Ratliff, Virginia F. Seawell Donald and Herman Cole Seawell, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Richardson Byrd of Rockingham and Dann Richardson, Jr. of Eureka Springs, AR; her grandchildren, Garrett Cole Hayes of Glassboro, NJ and Holli Danielle Hayes Cranford of Calabash, NC; and her sister Ellon Seawell Barlow of Fayetteville, NC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
