He was predeceased by: his parents, Hardy Carpenter and Aloe Phillips Carpenter; his son Danny Carpenter; and his sister Alwayne Gee. He is survived by: his sons, Randy Carpenter of Robbinsville, NC and Bruce Brooks of Robbinsville, NC; his siblings, Bluford Carpenter of Peachtree, NC, Clinton Carpenter of Robbinsville, NC, Avery Carpenter of Robbinsville, NC, David Carpenter of Robbinsville, NC, Betty Crisp of Robbinsville, NC. and Mary Rogers of Robbinsville, NC.; and also Phyllis. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
