He is survived by: his fiancée Pauline Sanders Conwell; his children, Leslie Ruth Joyner (Michael) and Justin Nelms (Laura) of Roanoke Rapids, NC; and his stepchildren, Lisa Bellflower (Jeremy) of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Angie Pitsenbauger of Berrytown, VA, Eddie Lee Sanders of Roanoke Rapids, NC and Robert Earl Sanders (Kimberly) of Roanoke Rapids, NC. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.
