He is survived by: his sons, Edward "Ed" Jackson (Lisa) of Roanoke Rapids and Robert Jackson of Greenville; his grandchildren, Emily Jackson, Kristopher Jackson and Meghan Conn Bennett (Brent); and his great grandchild Joseph Carlyle Bennett.
