She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Brake and Ruby Thompson Brake; and her husband John Mitchell, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Kay Park of Littleton, NC and Donna Sellers (Danny) of Roanoke Rapids, NC; her granddaughter Jolene Morgan of Plano, TX; and her brother Johnny Brake (Margo) of Vinton, VA.. She is also survived by her three great-grand-children.
