He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joe Burnette, Sr. and Laura Jane Hicks Burnette; his former wives, Madeline Price and Annie Ruth Deloatch; his brothers, Ulysses Burnette, Joe Burnette, Jr. and Charlie Burnette; his nephew Jerome Burnette; his niece Florine Burnette; his aunt Martha Bush; his brother-in-law Ned Mills; his wife Mavis Burnette; his stepchildren, Janaire Robinson and Louis Robinson of Roanoke Rapids, NC; his grandchildren, Raekwon Squire, Josiah Brown, Ayden Robinson and Gabriel Wright; his son Horace Andre Burnette (Veronica) of Baltimore, MD; his stepdaughter Sheree Fuqua of Baltimore, MD; his goddaughter Ella Edmonds Curtis of Baltimore, MD; his siblings, Hazel Mills of Fort Washington, MD, John Henry Burnette (Mary Frances) of Forest Height, MD and Jessie Burnette of Roanoke Rapids, NC; and his sisters-in-law, Iona Burnette and Lois Burnette of Roanoke Rapids, NC. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Because of Covid-19, the CDC guidelines will be followed for all services by the wearing of masks, social distancing, and limiting the number of persons in attendance.
