She is survived by: her husband Gaius David Wells, Sr.; her children, Teresa Wells Skinner (Kenneth) of Roanoke Rapids, Rebecca Wells Spurlin of Roanoke Rapids, Donna Wells Thompson (Glenn) of Grifton, Gaius David Wells II (Susan) of Littleton and Alvin "Bruce" Wells (Christina) of Halifax; her siblings, Claudia Neal (Gene) of Roanoke Rapids, Addie Simone of Roanoke Rapids and Ronnie Wood (Sue) of Roanoke Rapids; her grandchildren, Jennifer Skinner Stamm (Sid), Joanne Skinner Forbes (Brian), Kristin Skinner Donoughe (Chris), Bradley Shearin (Holly), Jonathan Wells, Abigail Grace Wells and Cora Gordan Wells; her great grandchildren, Cody Stamm, Briann Forbes, Brooke Forbes, Braxton Forbes, Lucas Shearin and Gracelyn Shearin; and her great great grandchild Henry J. Nethery.
