He is survived by: his children, Demontie Ahkeem Goodwyn of Enfield, NC, Joydan Kaylee Goodwyn of Roanoke Rapids, NC. and Shafia Lee of Roanoke Rapids, NC.; his grandchildren, Dewayn Deloatch, Jr. of Roanoke Rapids, NC. and Nevaeh Lee of Roanoke Rapids, NC.; his siblings, Rose Christine Goodwyn of Battleboro, NC, Linda Clay (Ricky) of Jackson, NC, Lynburg Goodwyn of Garysburg, NC and Willie Goodwyn, Sr. (Patricia) of Halifax, NC; his sister-in-law Eliza Goodwyn of Milledgeville; and his friend Deacon Robert Bolling.
