He is survived by: his children, Connie Ogburn (Keith) of Darlington, Steven V. Trothen (Yvonne) of Newport News, VA and Valerie Maupin (Bo) of Windsor, VA; and his sisters, Margot Von Forell and Ruth Johannides (David). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
