He is survived by: his wife Joyce Snead Phillips of Roanoke Rapids; his children, Anthony Scott Phillips (Amy) of Wake Forest and Teresa Phillips Pike (Michael Pike) of Darlington; his grandchildren, Bradley Michael Pike, Justin Pike, Cameron Phillips and Meagan Pike; his great grandchild Hazel Pike; and his sister Elsie Comer of South Boston, VA..
