He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Strader and Mildred Stone Strader of Reidsville; and his siblings, Richard Strader of East Bend, Martha Bell Strader and Barbara Priddy of Reidsville.
He is survived by: his sisters, Lucille Martin of Greensboro and Charlotte Woods Griner of Jamestown; his sister-in-law Mary Rae Paschal Strader of Rural Hall; and his nieces and nephews, Donna Williams (Allan) of Reidsville, April Bullin (Chris), Wendy Strader of Tobaccoville, Sharon Stephens (George) of Greensboro and Byron Woods of Carrboro.
