It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Miller Whary of Reidsville, North Carolina, born in Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on August 23, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Johnson Miller and Ora Lee Griffin; and her son Richard "Ricky" Norman. She is survived by: her children, Robert Norman (Leslie) and Denise Swaim (Danny); her daughter-in-law Linda Norman; her grandchildren, Natalie, Justin, Amy, Brandi, Robert Jr., Keith, Weezie, Joey, Ashton, Kyleigh, Christian, Payton and Kaiden; her brother Robbin Miller (Ollie); and her nieces, Rene and Angie. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the MLD Foundation in honor of her great granddaughter, Hope.
