It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Ellington Collie (Reidsville, North Carolina), who passed away on October 13, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George D. Ellington and Myrtle Powell Ellington; and her siblings, Warren (Kathryn Ellington), Otis (Helen Ellington), Winifred, Gilmer Brande, Betty and Scearce.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Collie (Carmon), Brian Collie (Barbara) and Carol Raiger (David); her grandchildren, Shannon Lowder (Sam), Lauren Birdno (Jared), Tyler Collie (Clara), Laura Collie, Taylor Raiger and Adam Raiger; and her great grandchildren, Tenley, Olivia, Halle Birdno, Isabelle and Sophia Lowder. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
