He is survived by: his wife Ellen Lonas Robbins; his son Patrick Sean Robbins of Wilmington; his stepson Samuel T. McCartt Jr. (Roberta Lynn) of Reidsville; and his grandchildren, Joel Hendry, Jonathan Hendry, Rebekah Maciorowski, Grace Hendry, Nathaniel Hendry and Micah Hendry.
