It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Carlton Washburn of Reidsville, North Carolina, born in Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on October 15, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fletcher Davis Washburn and Juanita Baynes Washburn; his wife Patricia "Pat" Stanley Washburn; and his brother Davis Washburn. He is survived by: his daughter Carla Washburn Bray (Wayne); his granddaughter Maryann Bray Hoyt (Sean); his daughters, Thomas Bray (Hayley) and Crystal Washburn Farmer (Rusty); his grandchildren, Haley Farmer, Hayden Farmer and Holden Farmer; and his great grandchildren, Braylee Hoyt, Finley Hoyt, Levi Bray and Jensen Benfield.
