She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert D. King and Zetta Tickle King; her husband Ervin Burge; and her siblings, Rebecca King, Ilene Jordan, Edgar King and Harold King.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Burge (Betty) and Vicki James (David); her grandchildren, Kevin Burge (Alisha) and Dana Simmons (Chad); her great grandchildren, Memphis, Jax Burge and Taylor Simmons; her sisters-in-law, Eunice King and Dare Burge; and her nephew Bruce Webb (Mike King).
