He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Jean Blair Slayton; his children, Cameron Gean Slayton (Tori) of Stanfield, Sarah Slayton Evans (Ben) of Ruffin and Gloria Christian Slayton of Ruffin; his grandchildren, Silas Blake Evans and Briar Slayton Evans; his mother-in-law Sarah Blair of Charlotte; his siblings, John Slayton of Tulsa, OK, Dave Slayton (Judy) of El Dorado, KS and Toni Anderson (Thomas); and his siblings-in-law, Debra Van Dam of Charlotte, Jim Blair (Kathy) of Chattanooga, TN and Jack Blair (Melinda) of Weatherford, TX. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
