He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus D. Green and Junnie Green; and his former wife Deloris Yeatts. He is survived by: his wife Kelly; his sons, Dalmin Green (Amanda) of Bethany, Kenny Swisher (Amy) of Stoneville and Glenn (Helen) of Durham; and his grandchildren, Hannah, Daniel, Paul, Sarah King, Katie, Abbie Green, Jacob, Kendall, Essie Swisher and Nate Poston.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Rockingham County.
