It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dwight Lee Chaney of Reidsville, North Carolina, born in Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on July 9, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, V. L. "Buster" Chaney and Cora Chaney; and his brother Franklin. He is survived by: his wife Linda Smith Chaney; his children, Keith Chaney (Rona), Lisa C. Carter (Chuck), Lori C. Knowles (Chad) and Kevin Chaney (Ginger); his grandchildren, Kristin Barber (Greg), Jacob Chaney, Jake Carter, Brooke Carter, Brison Knowles, Wyatt Chaney, Erica Chaney and Claire Mattioli; his great grandchild Lucas Barber; and his aunt Roxie Robinett of Colorado.
