It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deacon Thurman Pinnix Jr. of Reidsville, North Carolina, who passed away on August 1, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Hessie Harrison Pinnix. He is survived by: his father Reverend Thurman L. Pinnix, Sr.; his wife Wondia Harden Pinnix; his children, Jamie Blackwell (Crystal), Kimberly Pinnix and Rose Pinnix Fulks (Joshua); his sister Barbara Brown (Larry); his sisters-in-law, Janita Harrison (Sam) and Jacqui Shackleford (Tony); his uncles, Vernon Pinnix, Linwood Pinnix (Lottie) and Hashim Khateeb (Edith); his grandchildren, Shamonica Richardson, Shaundrell Richardson and Shante'Richardson; his great grandchildren, Bryson Davis, Zyaire Richardson and Kaden Richardson; and his aunt Neapolis "Neepee" Harrison Galloway. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
