It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred Lee Hearp Jr. of Reidsville, North Carolina, who passed away on July 7, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Lee Hearp, Sr. and Peggy Eastridge Hearp; his brother Douglas Ray Hearp; and his brother-in-law Timothy Gwynn. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Gwynn Hearp; his children, Melanie Hearp Morrison (John) of Reidsville, NC, Dr. Matthew Lee Hearp (Cathy) of Blacksburg, VA and Mark Lee Hearp (Mine) of Fayetteville, NC.; his sister Gena Hearp Bryant (Wayne) of Greensboro, NC.; and his grandchildren, Brenna, Maddie, Morgan, Marlowe and Ruby.
