She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett William Brown and Beaula Faye Stephens Brown; her husband Elbert Gordan Duzan, Sr.; her children, Lawana Howard and Elbert Gordan Duzan, Jr.; and her siblings, Kenneth Dale Brown, Genevieve Brown and Viola Brown.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Oestreicher (Stephen) of Prospect Hill. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
