He is survived by: his wife Isabelle Chavis Hawkins; his children, Susan Key, Jean Sampson, Jesse Hawkins Jr and David Brandon Hawkins; his grandchildren, Trevor Key, Quinlan Hawkins, Maxwell Hawkins, Cameron Hawkins, Cody Eakes and Casey Eakes; his great grandchildren, Kaleb Eakes and Gavin Eakes Jesse; and his sister Lessie Hawkins.
